Detailed Description

Background fluctuation studies: dMdpT spectrum for PYTHIA and single track embedding.

The task requires the JetTagger for PYTHIA matching to be run first

In case the embedding is done starting from particle and detector level jet 4-vector stored in a TTree, this tree must be given as input The tree is produced with AliAnalysisTaskPrepareInputForEmbedding and then cooked out locally before being used as input of this task The operations to be performed are the following

  • merge the output file per pT-hard bin
  • the entries have to be shuffled so that they're not ordered by pt
